"The U.S. Army Military History Institute will celebrate 40 years of dedicated service in collecting, preserving, and making available to researches, the history of the US Army with and Open House for the public on June 16, 2007, from 10am to 5pm.
The schedule of events from June 16 includes 'behind the scenes' guided tours of Ridgway Hall conducted every 30 minutes from 10am to 1:30pm and gain, from 2:30pm to 4:30pm.
At 1:30pm, following a cake cutting ceremony, Dr. Conrad C. Crate, the director of the U.S. Army Military History Institute, will give a presentation on 'The History of the Military History Institute' in the Ridgway Hall Reading Room.
During the conduct of the Open House, the Institute's Patron Services will be fully staffed to assist those desiring to accomplish on-site research.
All activities will take place in Ridgway Hall located at 950 Soldiers Drive, Carlisle, Pennsylvania."
