Ross Perot to Accept Boots on the Ground Award at Army Heritage Center Foundation’s Fourth Annual Membership Dinner
The Boots on the Ground Award recognizes individuals or organizations that make a very positive contribution to the lives of many Soldiers. Mr. Perot has been a veterans’ advocate for decades, leading the charge for recognition of Gulf War and subsequent veterans’ service and sacrifice. He has generously given financial support to families of POWs, children of Soldiers killed in action and to entertain troops through USO events.
The Dinner at the Radisson Hotel Harrisburg Hershey in Camp Hill will honor Veterans past and present, those who support Soldiers, and those who support the Army Heritage Center Foundation and the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center in “Telling the Army Story . . . one Soldier at a time.” The event will also celebrate the commencement of a new capital campaign to build the second phase of the Visitor and Education Center.
Dinner sponsorship opportunities are available.
